Get hotel reservations or not?
I am taking a trip in October and I was wondering if it's a better deal money wise to reserve ahead of time. Or if I walk in the day that I need the room, if I will get the same price as if I reserved ahead of time.Also, has anyone used Hotels.com since it claims to have the best low rates at last minute. Would I benefit from using hotels.com rather than using the site of the actual hotel I'll be staying at.Thanks

Questions on the need for hotel reservations for the trip to Yellowstone?
I am driving to Yellowstone the week after Labor Day after 9 11. I will make reservations for the park now. Do I need to make Hotel Reservations for the trip there and back? I am ok with clean budget places. I will be stopping in Sioux City IA, Wall SD, Deadwood SD, Cody WY then on the way back West Yellowstone, Jackson Hole WY, Cheyenne WY and Lincoln Ne. I made a reservation at a hotel in Boston for the week of Thanksgiving for my boyfriend and I. He's paying for our plane tickets, and I'm paying for the hotel with my debit card. The problem is that I put the hotel reservation under my name and it turns out you must be 21 to get a room at this particular hotel. I'm 18, but my boyfriend is 21. Do I need to cancel the reservation and make a new one in his name? If so, can I still put it on my credit card even though the names obviously don't match?

If I were to visit a hotel and ask for a room for the night, would it cost more than if I had made a reservation about a week before? Or would I just not be able to get a room that would have reserved but is now taken? And how much more in multiples, say 2 times more, 1.5 times more if the answer is Yes for the first question? Someone named Cathy Gillis is claiming to be a starwood employee its a call center for hotel reservations and has texted myself and everyone I know in London Ontario trying to get people to email her to use her employee discount. She claims to be supervisor. could this be ligit, or is it probably some marketing scheme? I've never had solicitations like this and am very leary
Hotel Reservations For My Daughters?
My twin daughters wants to drive down to Missouri this summer to visit her father. I don't want them doing the whole trip in one night so they were going to spend the night in Chicago. They are 19, so old enough to this on their own, but my concern is with the hotel reservations. Their father seems to think it will be an issue because they're not 21 and some hotels have mini bars in the rooms. Is there a way to deal with? Can I make the reservations for them? Or are there hotels that don't require guests to be 21? Please help, I can't afford to send them on a plane and there is no way I am spending a week with my ex husband

I'm traveling from the US to London tomorrow and my father just made the hotel reservations in London in the Plaza for me, but I'm worried now that since I will be unaccompanied I might not be able to check in I'm only 17. The reservation is in my name, but I do have a friend whose mother is in London. I won a " free" Vegas vacation from Silver State Getaway Marketing Concepts. I have filled out the forms and sent the money order they requested for the hotel reservations over 2 months ago, but still haven't heard back. I sent the hotel forms back before the airline forms and I got the airline vouchers back, but nothing about the hotel. Has anyone won one of these trips before? How long did it take you to get your reservations back?
